U.S. Gypsum Acquired By German Company, Stony Point Plant Could be Reopened

The German company Knauf has recently acquired U.S. Gypsum in a $7 billion deal. In Stony Point, NY where U.S. Gypsum had a plant that closed down in 2010, this has left residents hopeful that the plant might be reopened.
